Contests

 Lugansk State Institute of Culture and Arts is famous not for its students wins at contests, festivals only, it is both the initiator and organizer of unique creative contests conducting.  

All Ukrainian contest of drawing “Srybny Shtrykh” is a real holiday of fine arts. The contest annually gathers talented students from artistic higher educational establishments of Ukraine. Drawing plays an important part among artistic disciplines; that is why making contest tasks forms a young artist for further mature professional mastery. 

Frequently the contest foundation initiative belongs to institute collectives. All Ukrainian modern dance contest “Zoloto Oseni” is an offspring of public dance theatre “Talisman”. The professors - choreographers of our institute are doing their best to popularize and develop various styles of choreographic art, promote professional development of their colleagues directors of dancing collectives. “Novye tantsi” modern dance open regional championship has been founded and is being conducted twice a year in order to support such goal.  

Some contests had been named in the honor of prominent talented fellow region men, Lugansk higher educational establishments’ graduates and professors. For example, the All Ukrainian audition contest of pupils and students of folk instruments departments of primary specialized educational establishments in arts domain, higher musical educational establishments of I-II levels of accreditation after Voyevodin dynasty.  The school of exponential art at folk instruments in Lugansk is connected with this well known name.

Animation festivals are not rare at post soviet space. Though mostly adults perform the role of directors of the works being presented at festival. “Surpris” is the first festival of cartoons that have been created by children and for children. Children animation festival has already been twice held in Lugansk. Since 2009 the festival got the rank of an International one.

Due to such contests traditions, our institute reveals and helps to develop young talents creativity, promotes the development of separate arts type in Ukraine.

• All Ukrainian audition contest of pupils and students of folk instruments departments of primary specialized educational establishments in arts domain, higher musical educational establishments of I-II levels of accreditation after Voyevodin dynasty

• VI open All Ukrainian drawing contest “Srybny Shtryh”

• V All Ukrainian modern dance contest “Zoloto Oseni - 2007”

• Open regional championship on modern dance “Novye Tantsi 2008”

• I International children animation festival “Surpris”
