Creative activity
Creative centre «Krasna Plosha, 7» is not an address of Lugansk State Institute of Culture and Arts, and is an art centre with the same name- the real Philharmonic Society of the institute students.
The uniqueness of this project is that it is planned and organized in order to be the ground for the consistent check of students` knowledge and skills, got by them during studies. In the lecture-halls professors give students general and special knowledge, and in the centre, which organizes various concerts and different performances, their students get the battle christening as the actors on the stage. The audience, that fills the main concert hall every Thursday, is not students only, but citizens and inhabitants of the region, professional art experts and amateurs. So, Krasna Plosha 7 is the start ground for young talents. The centre provides each artistic collective of the institute with the conditions for independent solo projects preparation. Though, it exists a year and a half only, some students have already presented their first solo programs, and some work on rich repertoire. Since the beginning of the Centre work (2006) spectators visited more than seventy concert performances. It hadn’t been just performances; it had been real creative reports. Each of them has own specific scenario and producer work, they are filled and have interesting themes.
Creative centre proves by his work, that Lugansk State Institute of Culture and Arts works not only as an educational and scientific structure, but the spiritual culture bonfire as well. The centre draws young spectator into cultural heritage of humanity, develops beauty sense. Thanks to new approaches, extraordinary producers’ solutions the creative meetings at concerts, musical programs, theatre and choreographic performances become brilliant and unforgettable for visitor.
Students’ TV studio
Students from specializations «announcer, TV presenter», «TV producer», «Camera operator» have the possibility to work there in the format and regime of professional TV studio. They create and broadcast own informational, social- educational, entertaining and other programs. Most of the programs are of culturological direction. Students’ news «StuDen’», information cycle «Mysteries of History», students TV film cycle «My life is cinematography», program genre «Film – portrait – social network www.4eloVEK.ua» etc. are among them. Students’ studio is a real training ground, where future video air personalities gain practical experience on whole technological cycle of TV.

EDUCATIONAL ANIMATION STUDIO «DREAMERS» is a joint project of Lugansk State Institute of Culture and Arts and animation studio «Format».
The studio functions in frames of pre- college training department, and its’ leavers are potential LSICA entrants. Animation studio is a kind of arts school for creatively gifted children. The definition «animation» by means of which multiplication is called means «reviving». In our case this is animation and reviving of characters by means of technology operations and methods usage. The studio task is not only to teach a child to invent characters, but make them animated as well.
Course educational program comprises three years. During the first year of studies students get acquainted with general animation techniques, make separate scene shooting. During the second year of study they make shooting with active creative activity, meaning images and plots search, its’ animation. Third year comprises team work on film that is total of students’ creative work. They study computer animation, music, animation technique, get camera, photo camera and TV light practical skills. Studio works are broadcasted at LSICA students TV channel and TV channels of Lugansk.
In May 2008, educational studio initiated 1st all-Ukrainian animation festival called «Surpirse».
